Family Forward is a vision of the Court of King’s Bench aimed at making the family court system simpler, faster, and less stressful for families. Family Forward represents a shift in how family justice is delivered in New Brunswick.
Work has just begun in collaboration with the Department of Justice and Public Safety to explore opportunities for improvements.
While this transition will take time, the goal is to place children and families at the centre of every step, focusing on resolving issues earlier, reducing conflict, and making the court process easier to understand and navigate.
The goal is clear: to create a system that helps families move forward more quickly, with less conflict, and with the support and information they need along the way.
